Mahanati Music Review: Nostalgic Experience

Mahanati

The Mahanti Music Album is out and it has 5 soundtracks in which 4 songs are penned by Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry and 1 song by Ramajogayya Sastry. The music was composed by Mickey J Meyer.

The Album just reminds us of the Nostalgic experience of the 70’s era and should also appeal to the current generation. Let’s see how individual songs fared.

First song being, Mahanati the title track of the movie has some excellent Lyrics sung by Anurag Kulkarni who is known for his appealing voice in “Choosi Chudangane song” from Chalo movie.

The second track is ‘Muga Manasulu’ impresses us with its rendition and sounding. The tune and lyrics are aligned in such away that we keep humming the same repeatedly. The Movie unit had also released promo video of this song which was simply spectacular in visuals as the set was designed by Thota Tharani garu, a well known Art director.

“Sada Nannu” is a stand out in the entire album for it’s lyrical values and for the great rendition by lead singer Charulatha Mani. The promo video of this song had some great emoting situations by Keerthy Suresh ans Dulquer Salman. Surely, this song will be eye feast for the audience.

“Agipo balyama” is also good in singing perspective. Ramya Behara sang this song very well which resembles 70’s era of singing style. “Chivaraku Migiledi” looks like the climax or pre climax song. The orchestra used in the song was very soothing and drive us into melancholy.

All in All, the entire album is addictive if you are a music lover and some songs will be repeated in a loop and should top the music charts for upcoming weeks.

Verdict: Soulful Music with Extraordinary Lyrical Values.
