Majili took an impressive opening at the Boxoffice collecting around 5.3cr share on its opening day in the Telugu States.
The movie created good pre-release buzz with its trailer and soothing music, which translated into collections on an opening day.
It is second biggest opening for Naga Chaitanya in AP/TS falling behind Shailaja Reddy Alludu which collected around 5.6cr. However, Majili is impressive outside the Telugu States and will comfortably beat SRA in terms of Worldwide(WW) Boxoffice.
The AP/TS theatricals are valued at around 17cr and with positive WOM, Majili should recover the investment within the first week.
