Akhil Akkineni’s latest flick Mr. Majnu’s shooting is currently happening at a brisk phase and the movie is all set to release in January next year.
Recently released teaser received a good response and Venky Atluri is taking all the measures to give a much-needed break to the Akkineni hero this time.
The latest we hear is that producer BVSN Prasad has started the negotiation for Mr. Majnu Satellite Rights and quoted a huge price. However, channels are not ready to pay the quotes mentioned by BVSN considering the box office verdict of Akhil’s last 2 movies.
Though Hello received a positive response post-release, it could not spin the revenue at the box-office and ended up as a commercial failure.
For now, it seems BVSN has to wait and hope that the movie creates some good buzz prior to its release to fetch a good price for Mr. Majnu Satellite Rights. Akhil is really working hard to leave no stone unturned for this movie to bounce back with a much-needed hit.
Venky Attluri who delivered a commercial success with his debut film ‘Tholiprema’ is ensuring that he will not be a one film wonder and putting his best efforts too.
Thaman’s music and Nidhi Aggerwal glamour should definitely be an added advantage for this romantic flick. Let’s hope this movie will become a huge success at the box-office and bring back Akhil into an action.
