Adipurush is undoubtedly one of the most awaited biggies this year. The film was initially scheduled to hit the screens in January during Sankranti. But, after the teaser release, there were negative reviews on it and many critiicised the VFX works.
The makers have then postponed the release and announced the new release date as 16th June 2023. There were rumours that the film’s release is further delayed but that’s not the case. The makers have confirmed the release date as June 16th which is a big relief for Prabhas fans.
The shooting of the film was wrapped up long back and the team is currently busy with VFX works. Adipurush is being directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame and is being bankrolled by T-Series. The film has Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as lord Rama and Sita. Sunny Singh is playing the Laxman role. Saif Ali Khan is playing the antagonist as Ravana.
Prabhas will next be seen in Salaar under the direction of Prashanth Neel and Project K which is directed by Nag Ashwin. The actor also has one film with Maruthi which is touted to be an horror comedy and a movie with Bollywood director Siddharth Anand.
The Saaho star has also signed a film titled Spirit which will be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
