NTR Kathanayakudu has taken a Below-Par Opening at the Boxoffice collecting around 10.6cr Share WorldWide on its opening day.
The movie generated good pre-release buzz, however that didn’t translate into collections. USA premieres went well, but the movie struggled big time in the Telugu States.
It was one of the biggest releases ever for a Balakrishna starrer, but it only turned out to the second biggest opening behind Gautamiputra Satakarni. It remains to be seen, if it can hold on well in USA over the weekend.
The WOM is Very Good and that should help the movie during the Festive season. The WW theatricals are valued at 70cr, so it will be an uphill task for it achieve Break Even(B.E) from here.

Balakrishna is producing this on NBK Films Banner with Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri co-producing on Vaarahi Chalana Chitram and Vibri Media Banners.
