NTR Kathanayakudu has taken a Poor Opening at the Boxoffice collecting around 7.7cr Share in the Telugu States on Wednesday.
The movie generated good pre-release buzz, however that didn’t translate into collections. Morning shows went well, but it didn’t hold up well through the rest of the day.
It was one of the biggest releases ever for a Balakrishna starrer, but it only turned out to the third highest opening day for the actor. The business was possibly hit by the mid-week and pre-festival factor.
The WOM is Very Good and that should help the movie during the Festive season. The AP/TS theatricals are valued at 55cr, so it will be an uphill task for it achieve Break Even(B.E) from here.

Balakrishna is producing this on NBK Films Banner with Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri co-producing on Vaarahi Chalana Chitram and Vibri Media Banners.
