It is a known fact that Power star Pawan Kalyan is collaborating with National award-winning director Krish for a period drama.
Power star is currently busy with Vakeel Saab which is being directed by Venu Sriram, an official remake of Hindi film PINK starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
Pawan Kalyan will join the shoot of Krish’s immediately after wrapping up the shoot for Vakeel Saab. According to reports, the actor will play a dual role in this period drama reportedly titled Virupaksha.
The movie deals with the theft of a precious diamond and has a lot of thrilling sequences. Going by the reports, one role will be that of a thief but the second role is being kept under wraps.
It is also being reported that Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been approached to play the female lead. However, makers have rubbished the rumours that Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan was approached for a crucial role.
The movie will also star Anchor turned actress Anasuya Bharadwaj in a key role. The film is being produced by AM Ratnam and M.M Keeravani to score the music.
