There is no denying the fact that Prabhas’ Adipurush is one of the most anticipated films throughout India. The movie has garnered a huge hype ever since its announcement in August.
Prabhas will be playing Lord Rama in this period film. There have been reports that Kriti Sanon was being considered to play Sita. Here is the latest update on the lead actress.
The latest buzz is that makers are also considering Bollywood actresses Shraddha Kapoor and Kiara Advani for the role. However, there is no official announcement yet. Shraddha Kapoor had earlier shared screen space with Prabhas in Saaho.
The Baahubali star is currently busy with period love drama Radhe Shyam which also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. He is yet to begin the shoot for a sci-fi film with Nag Ashwin and although this film was announced first, reports suggest that Adipurush will go onto the sets after Radhe Shyam.
Adipurush which is being produced by T-Series will be a Hindi-Telugu bilingual and will also be dubbed into several other languages. The film will go on sets early next year and might hit the screens by end of 2021.
