The actor was last seen in Saaho which released with huge hype and pre-release buzz but failed to impress the audience. He is currently busy with his next under the direction of Radha Krishna Kumar.
The movie is a period drama based in Europe and is tentatively titled as Jaan. The movie also features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Jaan is expected to hit screens in October 2020.
Today it was officially announced that Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin and Prabhas will be collaborating for a film that will be bankrolled by Vyjayanthi movies banner.
The makers released a short video on the occasion of the production house nearing 50 years in the film industry. Cast and crew are yet to be finalized and the film will go on floors at the end of the year and is expected to release at the end of 2021.
More details of the film will be out soon but according to buzz it will be a sci-fi film made on a huge budget and it remains to be seen how this young director will present the Rebel star on screen.
The director last directed Mahanati featuring Keerthy Suresh and Dulqer Salman in lead roles which turned out to be a huge blockbuster. It received unanimous response from audience and critics alike and has received many awards including the national award for the female lead.
