Ever since Rajamouli’s RRR went into production, there has been no dearth of information regarding almost every aspect of the film.
While some have been official announcements and have been backed by the makers, many can be categorized as speculations and rumors.
It’s already known very well that the project’s two leading men are the biggies Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. The film is already in the second schedule of production and usually, this is the time when things begin to pick up the pace.
What’s unknown even until this point, and surprisingly so, is the information regarding the leading ladies. Over time, there have been many actresses who have been rumored to being a part of the film.
Kiara Advani, Rakul Preet and Rashi Khanna were the first ones to make the list. Since there was no confirmation on any of the three, there were more names suggested. Alia Bhatt, Jhanvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were supposedly in the race.
The most recent update on Rajamouli’s RRR is that Parineeti Chopra has been approached for a lead role. However, the actress has apparently demanded a huge sum as her remuneration and the makers are a little skeptical now.
While the likes of Alia Bhatt will be of great value, many on the internet have questioned the need to cast Parineeti Chopra who, to say the least, hasn’t been the most successful.
Rajamouli, or Jakkanna as he’s fondly called, is the one to clear the air on this. With so much speculation, the fans do deserve an answer.
