Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal gets postponed?

Animal

The highly-anticipated Bollywood film “Animal,” helmed by renowned Tollywood director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has generated immense buzz among fans. Set to hit theaters worldwide on August 11, 2023, audiences have been eagerly awaiting its release. However, recent rumors circulating on social media suggest a possible indefinite postponement to avoid a clash with the much-anticipated film “Gadar 2: The Katha Continues,” starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Although reports hint at T-Series considering a rescheduling, an official announcement is yet to be made.

“Animal” boasts a star-studded cast, with Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead, alongside acclaimed actors such as Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, who take on significant roles in the film. Jointly produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Productions, this multi-lingual project will be released in major Indian languages, including Telugu. It is worth noting that Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, despite facing a setback with his recent film “Selfiee” at the box office, has an exciting lineup of projects in the pipeline. One of the highly-anticipated ventures is the sequel to his blockbuster hit, “Oh My God.”

The sequel, aptly titled “Oh My God 2” (OMG 2), has once again grabbed headlines. Penned and directed by Amit Rai, Akshay Kumar himself shared a significant update on the film today, revealing that “OMG 2” is scheduled for theatrical release on August 11, 2023. This implies a potential clash at the box office with both “Gadar 2” and “Animal.”

We need to wait for few more days to get clarity on film’s clash at the boxoffice.
