The much-anticipated release of Ravi Teja’s Eagle, initially slated for January 13th, has officially been postponed. This decision, aimed at fostering the greater good of the film industry, was disclosed by Dil Raju, the esteemed President of the Telugu Film Chamber, during an evening announcement.

Dil Raju elucidated, “In a recent meeting with the producers of Sankranthi releases, we discussed the ground reality and the potential impact of five simultaneous film releases on overall revenues. Understanding the concerns, People Media Factory and Ravi Teja Garu graciously agreed to defer the release to a later date.”

Expressing gratitude for the understanding and cooperation, Dil Raju extended thanks to TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, and Ravi Teja, emphasizing that the decision was taken with the best interests of the film industry in mind. He underscored the importance of not interpreting the delay in a negative light.

Dil Raju assured that a dedicated release slot will be arranged for Eagle, with the new release date set for February 9th. To ensure a smooth release schedule, discussions have also been initiated with the team behind the film Tillu Square, scheduled for a February 9th release. Naga Vamsi, the producer of Tillu Square, has graciously agreed to a postponement.

In a gesture of industry solidarity, further discussions are planned with the producer of Yatra 2 to facilitate a solo release for Ravi Teja’s film. Dil Raju urged the media to present this decision positively, highlighting that the actions taken are in the best interest of the Telugu film industry. The collaborative efforts aim to ensure a successful and strategic release for Eagle and contribute to the overall flourishing of the Tollywood film landscape.
