RC15 has been in production for a long time. The film had multiple delays in shooting due to various reasons. The movie’s director Shankar has been juggling between this film and Kamal Haasan’s Indian2.
The latest news is that the principal photography of RC15 will resume from tomorrow. According to reports, the makers are in plans to shoot a song in Hyderabad. The shooting is likely to happen in old city. Reports also suggest that some portion of the song will be shot in Rajahmundry and Vizag. However, there is no official announcement yet.
Directed by Shankar, RC15 features Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The project is being bankrolled by Dil Raju on a large scale and the budget is reportedly around 170cr. Anjali, Srikanth, Sunil and SJ Surya are playing crucial roles. Thaman is composing the music. The makers are reportedly in plans to release the film during Sankranti 2024.
Shankar has been one of the top directors in India and he is always referred as Indian James Cameron. However, it’s been a long time since he scored a solid blockbuster. The director is known for presenting film in a commercial way with a deep social message. He has two biggies in kitty namely RC15 and Indian2. It remains to be seen whether he will give a strong comeback with these movies.
