Saakshyam had a decent first weekend at the Boxoffice collecting more than 7cr Share in the Telugu States.
The movie did have some clearance issues on the opening day which affected its collections, but it held on well over the next 2 days.
The opening is similar to Bellamkonda Srinivas’ previous outing ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ which collected 8cr and went on to finish at 23cr. So Saakshyam will need a better trending going forward to match JJN.
Saakshyam did a pre-release business of around 22cr in the Telugu States and the opening makes it difficult to recover the Investment.

The movie is facing some tough competition from Mission Impossible, which is performing decently in the Telugu Belt. Going by the pattern, it might finish at 17-18cr in the Full Run.
Saakshyam stars Bellamkonda Srinivas and Pooja Hedge in lead roles and is being directed by Sriwass. Shakthikanth Karthick will be composing the music with Abhishek Nama producing on Abhishek Pictures banner.
