Srinivasa Kalyanam had a Below Average opening day at the Boxoffice collecting over 3.2cr Share mark Worldwide(WW).
The movie opened slow in the morning shows, and there wasn’t much improvement in the evening/night shows considering that it was a Thursday release.
The next 3 days will be crucial for the movie and it remains to be seen if the family audiences turn up, as the Word Of Mouth(WOM) isn’t as good.
The opening day is similar to ‘Chal Mohan Ranga’ and ‘LIE’, but both of these movies ended their full run at around 10cr while ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ needs around 27cr to Break Even(BE).

The weekend number will give us a better idea of where this is heading, but the chances of it becoming a success are more or less out of the window. The movie will face some competition from Viswaroopam 2 which hits the theaters on Friday.
Srinivasa Kalyanam stars Nithiin and Raashi Khanna in lead roles and is being directed by ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ fame Satish Vegesna. The film has an ensemble cast which includes Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Jayasudha, Giri Babu and many others. The movie is being Produced by Dil Raju on his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
