It is a known fact that Mahesh Babu is doing a film under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. The film is tentatively titled SSMB28. The makers of the film have recently resumed the shoot after a long delay.
The latest news is that the makers of the film have finalised the release date. According to reports, SSMB28 is likely to hit the screens on 11th August 2023. However, there is no official announcement yet.
Directed by Trivikram, the film features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. There were reports that Samyuktha Menon is the second female lead but the makers have recently confirmed Sree Leela as the second female lead. Reports suggest that Jagapathi Babu is roped in to play the main antagonist. Thaman is set to compose the music.
The project was initially planned to be made as an action entertainer with solid mass sequences. However, the director has revamped the script after Mahesh Babu disliked the action choreography during first schedule. Reportedly, the new script offers a family entertainer with good dose of action sequences. We need to wait for few more days for more details.
Mahehs Babu will next work with SS Rajamouli for a globe trotting action adventure in the lines of Indiana Jones.
