Megastar Chiranjeevi’s return to acting has sparked interests among many filmmakers in the Telugu film industry.

Chiranjeevi is currently busy wrapping up his ambitious ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ in which he plays the titular character Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a freedom hero. The film is being directed by Surender Reddy.

As known already, Chiranjeevi’s son and fellow actor Ram Charan is bankrolling the project under his newly formed production house ‘Konidela Productions’.

A massive film by any means, ranging up to 100 crores, Charan has made sure that things are in place.

At the recent TSR National Awards ceremony held in Vizag, Chiranjeevi was one of the special guests and took up the mic, speaking about his new film was unavoidable.

The actor mentioned that when he saw his son do a costume-period drama in the form of ‘Magadheera’, he felt his son was indeed lucky since it was his only second film. He added that in his entire career of 149 films, he never had the opportunity to a period movie such as that.

The story goes that years later, when ‘Sye Raa’ came about, Charan jumped right in to produce the film and offer it to his father as a gift. A touching moment indeed.
