Thalapathy67 has been in news for the past few days due to various reasons. The film has made headlines again with a big star cast update. The makers have today kickstarted the third schedule in Kashmir. Huge hype is being created and the movie has now become one of the most awaited films this year.
Trisha Krishnan, who recently scored a blockbuster with Ponniyan Selvan1 has been roped in to play the female lead. The actress is collaborating with Vijay after 14 long years. It was recently announced that Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is also part of the movie. The actor is likely to play main antagonist role.
The film also features Gowtham Vasudev Menon, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Arjun Sarja, Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan in key roles. The movie will reportedly be a part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe and will be made on a massive scale.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thalapathy67 is being jointly bankrolled by S S Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under Seven Screen Studio. Anirudh Ravichander is set to compose the music. The makers are reportedly considering Dusshera release for this action thriller. The post theatrical streaming rights were reportedly bought by Netflix for a whopping 160cr.
