It’s been more than a year since we lost the legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. The singer died after being infected with COVID-19. Tollywood has received great criticism for not conducting any tribute program since then. Finally, the day has come for a formal tribute to the legend.
According to reports, Cine Musicians Union, Hyderabad has planned a grand musical event in association with the Department of Language and Culture, Telangana. The program is reportedly named Baluki Prematho which is a 12 hour non-stop musical event on the 4th of June marking the birth anniversary of SP Balasubrahmanyam.
The event will happen at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad from 10 AM to 10 PM. Around 100 music directors, musicians and playback singers will participate in this programme.
It will also be good to see such a programme is conducted in the memory of great writer Sirivennela Sitarama Shastry Garu as well.
