The upcoming movie directed by Trivikram Srinivas, featuring Mahesh Babu, has been in the limelight ever since its official announcement. Tentatively title SSMB28, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including several comedians, character artists, and lead actresses Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela. The filming was initially scheduled to take place throughout April and May but was postponed due to the unavailability of some actors.
Reports suggest that Mahesh Babu was not entirely satisfied with the initial draft of Trivikram’s script, leading to speculations about the delay in filming. However, it is now being reported that Trivikram has resolved the issues, and the shooting will resume once Mahesh Babu returns from his vacation on May 16th. If everything goes according to plan, the third schedule will commence by the end of May or in the first week of June.
SSMB28, which is touted to be a family entertainer, requires all lead actors to appear on the screen together in a few scenes, which has made scheduling difficult for Trivikram. The film’s release is slated for Sankranthi 2023, and it will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
As of now, the first two schedules have already been completed, and Trivikram is said to be using his spare time to fine-tune the script and review the footage from the previous schedules. He will continue to work on enhancing the final script until Mahesh Babu returns from his vacation.
