It was reported earlier that Tamil superstar Vijay is all set to join hands with director Atlee Kumar for the third time.
The two have worked together on Theri and Mersal before with both being highly successful. This will be Vijay’s 63rd film as an actor and would feature Nayanatara opposite him.
The project is being pushed as a sports drama with Vijay featuring in it as a coach who was once an athlete. According to the sources, the shooting is set to begin on the 21st of January post all the Pongal festivities.
It would be interesting to see the star in a coach/athlete’s garb whose recent releases have somehow been a little political. With as many as 16 new actresses being roped in, it surely makes one excited to hear more on the project.
Atlee has been keen on teaming with Vijay again and it seems so that the collaboration has been working quite well.
‘Thalapathy63’ is the current working title and has been bankrolled by AGS Cinemas. Official announcements regarding the actual title and other details should soon be underway.
