There have been reports over the past few days that Balakrishna will play Aghora in his next to be directed by Boyapati Srinu, now the director himself has provided clarification.
The duo have enthralled the audience with their blockbusters Simha and Legend and are yet again coming together to repeat the same magic.
Balayya had a poor 2019 with both NTR movies and Ruler turning to be duds at the Boxoffice and even Boyapati has scored a flop with Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Both are eagerly waiting for a solid hit to strike back.
The yet-untitled movie will reportedly feature Balayya in a dual role and the actor reportedly will be seen as twins. There has been a buzz in the industry that Balakrishna will be seen as an Aghora in one of the roles, but the makers haven’t confirmed this so far.
However, Boyapati in his recent interview on the occasion of Simha completing 10 years confirmed that Balakrishna will play Aghora in the film for a short duration and the director is confident that the audience will enjoy seeing the actor in a different role.
The film is being produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy and was initially scheduled to release in August 2020. However, due to lockdown, there can be a delay in shooting which in turn affects the release date.
The female lead hasn’t been revealed yet, but it seems the makers are keen on roping a fresh face for this action entertainer.
