It is a well-known fact that Megastar Chiranjeevi is doing Lucifer remake under the direction of Saaho fame Sujeeth.
There have been reports that Megastar Chiranjeevi did not like the script changes done by Sujeeth to match the taste of Telugu audience and the actor reportedly wanted to go for another director to handle this Malayalam remake.
It is now almost confirmed that Sujeeth will be out of this project. Chiru will reportedly have a discussion with his favourite director VV Vinayak for the script changes. If everything goes well, an official announcement on this project may happen on the eve of Dussehra.
Malayalam Lucifer starred Mohan Lal in the lead role and Prithvi Raj in a crucial role. There are also reports that Vijay Devarakonda will reprise Prithvi Raj in Telugu version.
Megastar is currently busy with Acharya which is being directed by the successful director Koratala Siva. Ram Charan is playing a crucial role in this film.
